We can all benefit from a nudge in the right direction. Here are a few tips and reminders to ensure you get the most from your application:

Do

be honest
review your CV and covering letter and check it is up to date and tailored to the role you are applying for
allow yourself plenty of time to complete the form
complete ALL questions
explain gaps in your employment history, such as time out travelling
ensure you've completed all the necessary sections before you submit your application
spell check your document
check your contact details are correct and up to date
be truthful about your driving license; we'll need to see both parts in your assessment and will contact the DVLA for a licence check before you start work for us

rush your application or omit information; it's the first impression we'll have of you
lie on your application form; our interview process is thorough
exaggerate; we will ask to see your exam certificates.
